Which rock band recorded 'Stairway to Heaven' for its untitled 1971 fourth studio album?
Show answer
Led Zeppelin
Although 'Stairway to Heaven' is one of the most played songs in radio history, Led Zeppelin famously refused to release it as a single, forcing fans to buy the entire album to own it. The track is celebrated for its gradual progression, starting as an acoustic folk ballad before building into a high-energy hard rock finale.
