Research has shown that which common honey-producing insect is capable of recognizing and remembering specific human faces?

Honeybees

In laboratory experiments, individually trained honeybees learned to distinguish photographs of human faces and chose a familiar target face over novel face images in unrewarded tests. The result demonstrates impressive learned visual discrimination, but does not show that bees naturally identify people in everyday life.
