What company produces the Kindle e-reader?

Amazon

The Kindle revolutionized reading by using E-ink technology, which mimics the appearance of ordinary ink on paper and consumes very little power. Unlike tablets, E-ink screens do not emit a backlight that causes eye strain, making them ideal for long reading sessions.
