What is the dot product of any two non-zero vectors that are orthogonal to each other?

Show answer

Zero

Orthogonality is the generalization of perpendicularity in higher dimensions. The dot product of two vectors is defined as the product of their magnitudes and the cosine of the angle between them; since cos(90°) is 0, the product is zero.
