Which is the only country that is also a continent?

Australia

Australia is unique for being the only nation that governs an entire continent, though it is often referred to as an 'island continent' due to its complete isolation by water. Despite its massive size, about 80% of its population lives within 50 kilometers of the coast because the vast interior is largely arid desert.
