In which city is the headquarters of OPEC located?
Show answer
Vienna
Although Austria is not an oil-producing country or a member of OPEC, Vienna was chosen as the headquarters in 1965 because of its neutral status during the Cold War. The city provides a central, diplomatic location for member nations from the Middle East, Africa, and South America to meet.
