What is the common name for the edible fungus that grows underground and is often hunted by trained dogs or pigs?
Show answer
Truffle
Truffles are highly prized for their intense aroma. Because they grow among the roots of specific trees like oaks and hazelnuts, they are difficult to farm and very expensive.
