Who directed "Schindler’s List"?

Show answer

Steven Spielberg

Spielberg refused to take a salary for this film, calling it 'blood money' and instead using his share of the profits to establish the USC Shoah Foundation. He filmed most of the movie in black and white to give it the timeless, documentary-like feel of the 1940s.

Also asked as:
  • Which filmmaker was responsible for directing the 1993 Holocaust drama "Schindler’s List"?
