Which film won the Oscar for Best Picture for 1994, beating 'Pulp Fiction' and 'The Shawshank Redemption'?

Forrest Gump

1994 is considered one of the most competitive years in Oscar history, as all three nominees are now regarded as all-time cinematic classics. While Forrest Gump took home the top prize, it also dominated the domestic box office as the highest-grossing film of the year and earned Tom Hanks his second consecutive Best Actor win.
