What 1939 film is famous for the line "There’s no place like home"?

Show answer

The Wizard of Oz

In the original book, Dorothy's slippers were silver, but they were changed to ruby red for the film to take full advantage of the new Technicolor technology. The movie was one of the first to use color as a storytelling device, transitioning from sepia-toned Kansas to vibrant Oz.
