Which asymptotic notation provides a strict upper bound, meaning the function grows strictly slower than the bound?
Show answer
Little-o notation (o)
While Big-O (O) provides an upper bound that may be tight, Little-o (o) describes an upper bound that is not asymptotically tight. For example, 2n is O(n), but 2n is not o(n).
